Requirements

Admission Requirements: Admission requires the Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD), an ACE certificate, an equivalent provincial diploma, the Certificat en présciences de la santé (PSCD or PSDB), or Adult Student status, plus one French credit (FIF4U, FRA4C or FRA4U, or equivalent), one English credit (ENG3C, ENG3U, EAE3C, EAE3U, ENG4C, ENG4U, EAE4C or EAE4U, or equivalent), and one Biology credit (SBI3C, SBI3U, SBI4U, or equivalent). Applicants without the OSSD must instead submit English-language proficiency evidence (CLB 6, or a PAET certificate with a minimum 50% average in specialization courses), unless the OSSD is completed before classes start. Before classes begin, students must also provide up-to-date immunizations (including a two-step Mantoux TB test and Hepatitis B vaccination) and a vulnerable-sector police record check, renewed annually; a Basic Life Support/CPR-C (Health Care Provider) certificate is due by 15 October each year and renewed annually.

Application Details

Start Date: September
Application Deadline: Domestic applicants apply through ontariocolleges.ca (OCAS/SACO): Collège Boréal opens its admission cycle each October for programmes starting the following fall or winter, and for its limited-enrolment (contingenté) programmes the equal-consideration date is 1 February 2027, after which files are ranked first-come, first-served and may be waitlisted; accepted offers must be confirmed by 1 May 2027 with the tuition deposit due 15 June 2027. International applicants apply through the SIA/OCAS international portal and face no fixed deadline, but Boréal recommends filing at least three months ahead: 1 June for the autumn session and 1 October for the winter session. Admission outside contingenté programmes is otherwise rolling until seats fill. These are institution-wide dates; this programme publishes no deadline of its own.
