Cert in Primary Care Paramedic

The Primary Care Paramedic certificate prepares students to deliver quality primary paramedic care through a combination of classroom theory, laboratory skills simulations, and supervised internships. The 54-week program, offered at CCNB's Campbellton campus starting each September, includes a clinical placement and leads to a CCNB certificate in Primary Care Paramedic. Admission follows Profile F, requiring a high school diploma (regular or modified program), an adult high school diploma, or a GED, together with a Mathematics 30321A, 30311B, or 30331C credit and a Biology 53421 credit with a minimum passing grade of 65%. International applicants may qualify by passing the CCNB admission test. The program builds the clinical assessment, emergency response, and patient-care skills required for entry-level paramedic practice, preparing graduates to work as primary care paramedics responding to medical emergencies within New Brunswick's emergency health services system.
