Coursework covers general, organic, and analytical chemistry techniques, spectroscopy and chromatography, microbiology, molecular and cellular biology techniques, biofermentation analysis, plant physiology, biochemical analysis, laboratory safety and management, and food safety, and includes a laboratory-based stage as part of the program. It is offered at the Edmundston campus. It suits students with a strong interest in applied science who enjoy precise, hands-on laboratory work and are drawn to a technical role supporting research or production in a scientific industry.

Application Details
Start Date:September
Application Deadline:Collège communautaire du Nouveau-Brunswick publishes no fixed application opening or closing dates, for either domestic or international applicants, for the autumn or winter session; the selection process begins in November for the following academic year, and complete applications are evaluated on a rolling basis as they are received. Rather than calendar deadlines, CCNB publishes a list, refreshed each cycle, of which programmes currently have admissions open (a 2026-27 list is live, covering Automne 2026), and it recommends applying early because some programmes draw more applications than seats available. Once an offer is made, domestic applicants have 30 days to confirm their place, while international applicants have 21 days. No separate international application deadline exists; the same rolling process applies to international applicants. These are institution-wide dates; this programme publishes no deadline of its own.
