This Attestation of College Studies (AEC) program trains students to work as Big Data specialists within the finance sector, supporting business-intelligence work alongside data scientists and business analysts. Delivered full-time over 10 months (960 hours, about 25 hours per week), the program includes a 240-hour work placement in a business setting. Coursework covers identifying and collecting financial and business data, organizing, processing, and validating datasets, and producing data-visualization outputs, reports, and charts using tools such as SQL, R, Python, and Tableau. Graduates are prepared to work with financial institutions, insurance companies, investment and wealth-management firms, government and philanthropic organizations, retail businesses, and management- and scientific-consulting firms. The program leads to an Attestation of College Studies (AEC) and combines technical data-analysis instruction with an applied internship in a financial or business-intelligence setting.
