This Attestation of College Studies (AEC) program covers the full accounting cycle, preparing students for entry-level roles in accounting, finance, and business administration. Delivered full-time over 14 months (1,350 hours), the program includes a 240-hour work placement in a business setting. Coursework spans bookkeeping, payroll, accounts payable and receivable, credit and collections, and administrative support functions. Graduates are prepared for positions such as accounting clerk, administrative technician, payroll clerk, credit clerk, and accounts-payable or accounts-receivable clerk, among other office and finance support roles. The program combines classroom instruction with applied, workplace-based learning through its internship component, giving students practical exposure to accounting and administrative operations before graduation. It leads to an Attestation of College Studies (AEC), a credential recognized by Quebec employers for entry-level accounting and business-administration positions, and builds on a general education foundation combined with program-specific technical coursework in accounting software and procedures.
