Overview
The Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Sustainable Business Practices is an innovative program designed to integrate the conceptual approaches and methodologies of a business administration degree program with specialized knowledge of sustainable business practices. The four-year program includes liberal arts and laboratory sciences in addition to specific business functions such as accounting or marketing and addresses the increasing need for organizations to commit to and demonstrate sustainability. You can develop the capacity for independent intellectual work and prepare for the challenges of careers in accounting, marketing, financial services, hospitality, local governance, and other positions in a variety of organizations including corporations, small businesses, non-profits or local government. BBA graduates may also to continue their studies toward professional certifications and designations.
Requirements
Admission Requirements: The Bachelor of Business Administration in Sustainable Business Practices requires secondary-school graduation or equivalent, a minimum grade of C+ (65%) in one of English Studies 12, English First Peoples 12, or Provincial English (Literature-based), and a math requirement met by a minimum grade of C (60%) in one of Pre-Calculus 12, Calculus 12, Statistics 12, or Mathematics - Provincial Level, or a minimum grade of C+ (65%) in one of Foundations of Mathematics 12, Geometry 12, or Computer Science 12; graduates of a College of the Rockies Business Management diploma with at least a 65% program average are deemed to have met the math requirement. Applicants for whom English is a second language must meet College of the Rockies' English proficiency requirements (for example TOEFL iBT 80 overall or IELTS Academic 6.0 overall, no band below 6.0). Experience using Microsoft Word and Excel is recommended.
