The General Management Diploma infuses sustainable business practice knowledge throughout your courses. Sustainability is a priority for many in today’s global business environment. This program opens the door to career opportunities in the field of business, or prepares you to continue directly into Year 3 of the Bachelor of Business Administration in Sustainable Business Practices degree program at College of the Rockies. As well as the required Business Management courses, students may select other specialized areas.

Admission Requirements: Entry to the General Management Diploma at College of the Rockies requires secondary-school graduation or equivalent, a grade of at least C+ (65%) in one of English Studies 12, English First Peoples 12 or ENGL090, and completion of one of two math paths: at least C (60%) in Foundations of Mathematics 11, Pre-Calculus 11, Statistics 12, Pre-Calculus 12, Calculus 12 or MATH080, or at least C+ (65%) in Foundations of Mathematics 12, Geometry 12 or Computer Science 12. Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel is recommended but not mandatory. The program's own outline defers language proficiency to the college's general admission requirements, stating that students for whom English is a second language must meet the English-proficiency requirements posted on the college website — TOEFL iBT overall 80, IELTS Academic overall 6.0 with no band below 6.0, CAEL-CE overall 60, or PTE Academic overall 56, or an accepted English-12-level course combined with sufficient years of English-medium instruction.
