BA/BS in Psychology is a bachelor's degree in Psychology programme offered by Concordia University in Montréal, Canada. The programme runs for 4 years, delivered on campus. Tuition for international students is CAD 34,800 per year (CAD 3,118 per year for local students).
This Bachelor's program in Psychology, offered through Concordia's Department of Psychology on the Loyola campus, covers the five main areas of the discipline: social, developmental, clinical, neuroscience, and cognition, with all students receiving foundational training in statistics, research methods, and behavioural neurobiology. Students choose among a 42-credit Major suited to fields such as teaching, business, personnel work, or community involvement; a 60-credit Specialization; or a 66-credit Honours stream that adds research experience and an Honours thesis. Full-time study takes three to four years (90-120 credits), with admission in the Fall or Winter term. The program is accredited by the OPQ/CPA, and students can take the courses required to qualify for clinical graduate programs; opportunities exist to join active research labs, supported by in-house program advising. It suits students planning careers or graduate study in psychology, medicine, or research, as well as those pairing psychology with business, communications, or education.
Requirements
Admission Requirements: The Bachelor of Science stream requires a Quebec CEGEP DEC with an overall average of 27.5, or a B average for Canadian high-school applicants, or 29 points for the IB Diploma, plus Calculus 1 and 2, a physics sequence (Mechanics, Electricity and Magnetism, Waves, Optics and Modern Physics), General Chemistry and Chemistry of Solutions, and a biology course; the Bachelor of Arts stream applies the same cut-off averages (27.5 CEGEP, B high school, 29 IB) without a mathematics or science requirement. Concordia's institution-wide English proficiency minimum applies unless exempt: IELTS Academic 6.0 with no band below 5.5, TOEFL iBT 70, or Duolingo 105. Fall applications are due March 1 (February 1 for U.S./international) and Winter applications November 1 (August 1 for U.S./international); meeting the minimum averages does not guarantee admission.
Application Details
Start Date:September and January
Application Deadline:Domestic applicants, including Quebec CEGEP graduates, apply directly to Concordia: for Fall 2027 entry (September start) the application deadline is 1 March 2027, and for Winter 2027 entry (January start) it is 1 November 2026; not all programs admit in Winter. Concordia sets the same formal deadlines for U.S. and international applicants but strongly recommends applying earlier - by 1 February 2027 for Fall or 1 August 2026 for Winter - to allow time for immigration processing. Late applications are considered if space remains, and Concordia does not publish a separate application-opening date. Graduate programs, including the Executive MBA, set their own per-program deadlines rather than following this university-wide undergraduate date. These are institution-wide dates; this programme publishes no deadline of its own.
