Overview

The Certificate in Science and Technology is a non-degree program for students who want to prepare for admission to a degree program in engineering or computer science, offered through the Gina Cody School of Engineering and Computer Science. The 30-credit certificate is delivered on campus at the Sir George Williams campus and is normally completed in one year of full-time study; up to 12 credits may be transferred in. Each course must be completed with a grade of C- or better to count toward the certificate, and a GPA of 2.00 must be maintained to remain in the program. University transfer applicants require a minimum 2.3 internal GPA or a C+ average from another institution. Students are admitted for the Fall or Winter term.

Admission Requirements: Minimum cut-off averages: Quebec CEGEP 21, high school C+, International Baccalaureate 26, British A-levels at least two exams at DD. University transfer applicants need a minimum 2.3 internal GPA or a C+ average from another institution; ACT/SAT scores are not required.
