PGCert in Event Management

Event Management is a one-year Ontario College Graduate Certificate designed to meet the needs of the growing industry in planning and managing virtual and in-person events. Students build a portfolio of event experience by collaborating with community partners to design, develop, promote and execute events in the public, non-profit and corporate sectors across the program's two academic terms. The curriculum covers project management systems, marketing strategies, budgeting, venue selection and stakeholder relations, giving students a practical grounding in the full events planning cycle. Graduates leave with hands-on experience delivering real events alongside industry and community partners, preparing them for coordinator and planning roles across the public, non-profit and corporate events industry in Canada and internationally, having worked directly with organizations throughout the program.
