A pre-university science DEC is accepted after completing ÉTS's "cheminement universitaire en technologie" with an informatics specialty and a minimum cumulative average of 2.30/4.30. International routes include a French BUT/DUT or international Bac+2 technical diploma, each requiring an 11.50/20 minimum average, and, from age 21, at least 30 technical college units plus two years of relevant technical experience. Teaching is in French; candidates must satisfy ÉTS's first-cycle language-policy directive, which sets no minimum test score. The program is non-contingented, with Fall and Winter intakes, and includes three mandatory paid co-op work terms.
