From college: Fanshawe's Pre-Health Sciences Pathway to Advanced Diplomas and Degrees certificate or its General Arts and Science certificate at 65% overall (2.5 GPA) with 65% in the named substitute courses, or another acceptable college program finished at 2.5 GPA carrying the same prerequisites at 65%. From university: an average of at least 70.0% over the last ten full-credit courses (or over all courses if fewer than ten), plus the English, Biology, Chemistry and Math prerequisites at 65%. Mature applicants must show equivalents of Grade 12 English, Biology and Chemistry (U) and Grade 11 Functions (U or M) at 70%, achieved within the last four years. English at health-career level: IELTS Academic 7.0 overall with 6.5 in reading and listening and 7.0 in writing and speaking, TOEFL iBT 92 (22 writing, 26 speaking, 20 reading, 20 listening), PTE Academic 65, CAEL 70 in writing, reading and speaking with 80 in listening, Duolingo 135, Cambridge English 185. When applicants outnumber seats, Fanshawe ranks by preference for Ontario permanent residents, application received by 15 February, then achievement in the entry requirements and in any post-secondary study. Before placement you must hold Standard First Aid and Basic Life Support (BLS) for Health Care Providers certification, show evidence of good health including immunisations, and clear a Police Vulnerable Sector Check.
