PGCert in Construction Project Management

Construction Project Management is a Fanshawe College Ontario College Graduate Certificate delivered full-time on campus at the London campus over 30 weeks. The programme prepares college and university graduates with construction-related backgrounds to advance into management positions in the construction industry, covering the theories and practices of modern construction management across residential, industrial, commercial and institutional projects. Students build the skills needed to plan, schedule, estimate costs for and administer construction projects from planning through completion. Admission requires a two-year college diploma, Ontario College Advanced Diploma or degree in a construction-related field, an equivalent qualification from another institution, or an acceptable combination of related work experience and post-secondary education, with a resume and cover letter sometimes required. The programme is open to domestic applicants; international applicants are directed to the co-op variant of the programme. Intakes run in September, January and May, preparing graduates for project coordination and management roles in the construction sector.
