Admission Requirements: Open to domestic applicants only. Applicants must be Registered Practical Nurses in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario and free of practice restrictions, and must have graduated from a two-year Ontario community college Practical Nursing diploma with a cumulative program average of at least 75 per cent and no failed or repeated courses. All post-secondary transcripts from Canadian and international institutions must be submitted for academic review. Applicants whose earlier university or college study lies outside practical nursing need a combined grade point average of at least 2.33 (C+), good standing, and no failures in core prerequisite subjects; higher averages may be needed under competition. International education must be presented as a course-by-course evaluation from WES or ICAS, and where only pass/fail grades exist the issuing institution must provide a letter stating the minimum passing score - the same applies to pass/fail results from out-of-province institutions.
