Requirements
Admission Requirements: Ontario Secondary School Diploma or equivalent with Grade 12 English (C or U), Grade 11 Mathematics (M or U) or Grade 12 Mathematics (C or U), and Grade 11 Biology (C or U) or Grade 12 Biology (U); certain post-secondary courses equivalent to those secondary-school subjects are also accepted. Beyond the academics, applicants sit an online entrance exam covering English, physics, human anatomy and workshop awareness, an online video interview, and a manual dexterity task; physics coursework before starting is recommended. Mature applicants aged 19 or over without an OSSD may take the Admissions Assessment in English, mathematics or science, or upgrade. Returning second-year students must complete the clinical pre-placement health package, which takes eight to 10 weeks and covers immunisation records (Tdap, COVID-19, MMR, varicella, hepatitis B titres and a two-step TB skin test) plus a clear Vulnerable Sector Check renewed each year.
