Overview
This 30-credit undergraduate certificate at HEC Montréal's Côte-des-Neiges campus is delivered on campus and in hybrid format (alternating weeks online and in person), structured as ten courses: two foundation courses, six further mandatory courses, and two electives. Requirements
Admission Requirements: Admission to HEC Montréal's certificate programmes follows one of three routes: holding a Quebec DEC (diplôme d'études collégiales); having completed 30 university-level credits in any programme (minor, major, certificate or bachelor's degree); or having four years of full-time work experience (internships excluded, counted from age 18, in any sector including experience gained abroad). Candidates who completed their prior schooling outside Quebec instead need a secondary diploma equivalent to twelve years of schooling combined with one year of university study (60 ECTS or the equivalent), or may qualify through the same 30-credit or four-year-experience routes. An intermediate-advanced level of French is required, demonstrated through prior schooling or by passing an approved French test or programme; applicants below that level must complete language courses first. Admission is rolling for Canadian citizens and permanent residents, with priority deadlines of May 15 for the Fall term, November 1 for Winter and February 15 for Summer; international applicants must apply by February 1 for Fall or June 1 for Winter, there is no Summer intake for international students, and they must study full-time to meet study-permit and CAQ conditions.
