Overview
The Graduate Diploma in Management – Marketing (D.E.S.S. en gestion – marketing) is a 30-credit, second-cycle diploma covering marketing fundamentals together with quantitative and qualitative data-analysis skills for marketing decision-making. Students complete 10 courses: 2 required courses covering qualitative and quantitative marketing research methods, plus 8 elective or free-choice courses drawn from an extensive elective offering that lets students build skills for varied professional contexts, including customer experience, databases, digital marketing, and international markets. Teaching combines case studies with real client mandates integrated into coursework. The programme is offered full-time or part-time, in day sessions, delivered on campus at the Côte-des-Neiges campus. Under certain conditions, graduates can continue into the Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Management – Marketing. Career paths include marketing manager, strategic advisor, product manager, customer experience lead, and digital marketing specialist.

Admission Requirements: For applicants from the Quebec or Canadian system: a bachelor's degree of at least 90 credits, with a minimum cumulative average of 2.7/4.3 (or the higher average required by the degree-granting university for graduate admission, if applicable). French proficiency must be demonstrated through prior francophone schooling or by passing a recognized French test at the intermediate-advanced level; strong English reading ability is recommended, as many course materials are in English. Applicants educated under the French system need a licence/bachelor's degree after at least 3 years of university study (180 ECTS), with a minimum average of 12/20; BTS, DUT and BUT credentials are not admissible.
