Bachelor of Music

Admission Requirements: The academic requirements below are Humber's Ontario baseline; an international applicant meets the equivalent standard for their own country of study through Humber's Academic Equivalency tool and then the same program requirements. Academic: an OSSD or accepted equivalent including Grade 12 English (ENG4U or equivalent) at a minimum of 65 per cent, five further Grade 12 U or M courses, and an overall grade point average of 65 per cent. Mature-student status or college/university transfer status are accepted in place of the secondary-school route. Additional requirements: every applicant must complete an audition on their chosen instrument, following the published audition requirements, and a test of music theory and ear training. Both are arranged and submitted through the Applicant Portal. A Canadian citizen or permanent resident schooled abroad needs a credential assessment first - ICAS course-by-course for a secondary transcript, WES for post-secondary study. English, where English is not your first language or your previous education was in another language: Humber's bachelor's degree band - IELTS Academic 6.5 with no band under 6.0, TOEFL iBT 84 with 21 per skill, PTE Academic 58-60, Duolingo 115, CAEL 60 including 60 in writing.
