Overview

This undergraduate Certificate in Entrepreneurship is offered through the Business Administration program in the School of Arts and Social Science at Memorial University's Grenfell Campus. It introduces core business and entrepreneurship concepts and can be completed as a standalone credential or alongside another Memorial University program by students who are not business majors. The certificate requires 18 credit hours across six courses: Introduction to Business, Introduction to Entrepreneurship, Accounting for Non-Business Students, Introduction to Marketing, Enterprise Development, and Small Business Management. Coursework moves from foundational business and marketing concepts through applied enterprise development and small-business management, giving students practical grounding in starting and running a business. No additional elective stream is required beyond the six prescribed courses, keeping the credential compact and combinable with degree study in other disciplines. It suits students who want a working knowledge of entrepreneurship and small-business management without committing to a full business degree.
