Behaviour and Regulation Studies is a post-diploma certificate at NorQuest College that takes a person-centred perspective on understanding behaviour as communication. The program teaches practitioners to recognize how brain processes and trauma affect behaviour and regulation, how to support families with self- and co-regulation, and how behaviour manifests across different developmental periods, then apply techniques suited to the individual and the caregiving relationship. It runs six terms, is delivered online on a part-time basis, and includes an optional 150-hour field placement covering observation, regulation, relationship-building, and reflective practice. The program is not currently open to international students.
