The Accounting Technician certificate at NorQuest College is an entry-level program covering foundational accounting principles, bookkeeping, business software, taxation, and payroll fundamentals. It runs two or three terms, totalling less than a year of full-time study, and combines coursework in financial record-keeping with the accounting software used in Canadian workplaces. Students complete 11 required courses, along with an optional 150-hour field placement that provides hands-on experience in an accounting setting.
