Indigenous Leadership Certificate

Admission Requirements: This certificate is open to domestic applicants only. Admission requires a C in English 12 or equivalent, or a successful English assessment; no numeric English-language test score is set. The program comprises nine mandatory courses covering the histories and impacts of colonization, governance, values and ethics, policy, community development, economic development, human resources, communications, and finance, plus one elective in organizational writing or communications. Delivered online part-time over 1.5 years, students have up to five years to complete the certificate and must complete at least 70% of it at North Island College.
