NAIT's Computer Network Administration (CNA) diploma program prepares students to support and troubleshoot secure servers and network infrastructure using both on-premise and cloud technologies. Coursework covers PC fundamentals, Microsoft Windows and Linux server and client operations, virtualization, cloud computing, scripting and automation, network infrastructure, troubleshooting, and basic security policies and practices, along with assessing and supporting end-user needs and working effectively and ethically as an individual or as part of a team. The program combines foundational information-technology knowledge, hands-on technical skills, and current applied technology, preparing graduates for roles such as server administrator, IT support technician, or network services technician in organizations that run on-premise and cloud-based IT infrastructure and rely on staff who can troubleshoot both desktop and server-level issues.
