Automotive Technician-Diploma at Red River College Polytechnic builds on the Automotive Technician-Certificate program to develop skills for working with advanced automotive electrical and electronic systems. The one-year, full-time diploma is delivered through classroom instruction covering automotive electronics, engine management, fuel injection, and anti-lock braking (ABS) systems. It is not an apprenticeship program itself but may provide credit transfer opportunities toward Manitoba apprenticeship training. The program is offered at the Notre Dame Campus in Winnipeg with a September intake and is restricted to Manitoba residents. It leads to a diploma credential building on the Automotive Technician-Certificate.
