PGDip in Advanced Manufacturing

The Advanced Manufacturing post-graduate diploma builds on an existing engineering or manufacturing credential, developing skills in advanced and emerging technologies used to improve or create manufacturing products and processes. Coursework spans mechatronics, artificial intelligence, robotics, and composite materials, giving graduates from engineering technology or science backgrounds tools to modernize manufacturing operations. The program includes a work-integrated learning component built around an industry project, giving students an authentic, partner-based experience applying advanced manufacturing concepts to a real workplace problem. Courses can be taken full-time, completing the credential in about eight months (one academic year), or part-time with evening classes for working professionals. The program targets diploma or degree holders in electrical, manufacturing, or mechanical engineering technology, or equivalent science and engineering backgrounds, who want to add advanced-manufacturing specialization to their existing qualifications and move into roles that require applying emerging technologies to production processes.
