IT Operations is a two-year, 20-month diploma with fall (late August) and winter (January) intakes, delivered in a hybrid format with classes held on campus and online at the Exchange District Campus in Winnipeg; most courses run between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m., Monday to Friday, and students must purchase a laptop. The program prepares service-minded IT professionals to manage the software, hardware, cloud services, network administration, storage, information security, device management, and help/service desk functions that keep organizations running. Graduates learn to apply IT service management and People-Process-Technology frameworks, troubleshoot and support IT systems, mitigate security threats, implement cloud services, track technology lifecycles and licensing, and support business continuity and disaster recovery processes.
