BA/BS in Applied Environmental Studies

Applied Environmental Studies is a joint program between Red River College Polytechnic and the University of Winnipeg, combining theoretical and applied knowledge in environmental analysis and problem-solving for careers in environmental industries. Students complete the first two years and the final year of the five-year program at the University of Winnipeg, while the third year, comprising 60 credit hours, is completed at Red River College Polytechnic. Admission to the Red River College Polytechnic portion requires successful completion of Year 2 of the University of Winnipeg's Applied Environmental Science program, with a separate application submitted directly to Red River College Polytechnic. The program leads to a bachelor's degree combining environmental science coursework with applied, industry-oriented study. Entry to the Red River College Polytechnic year begins in October at the Notre Dame Campus.
