Program details
Overview
The Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) in Mechanical Engineering is offered by RMC's Department of Mechanical and Aeronautical Engineering in Kingston, Ontario, covering advanced study in thermofluids, dynamics and control, materials, and solid mechanics. The graduate programme is open to both military and civilian students, and the department also offers a Doctor of Philosophy alongside the M.Eng. The M.Eng. is a course-based programme normally comprised of eight one-term graduate courses plus a capstone project, rather than a research thesis. All students must also complete the zero-credit course AI500: Academic Integrity, or an equivalent, by the end of their first term of study. Full-time graduate study normally takes two academic years, including the intervening summer, to complete. The programme is delivered on RMC's Kingston campus.
