This two-year diploma is the Television major within SAIT's Radio, Television and Broadcast News program, delivered in person at the Main Campus. Students work in simulated production and broadcasting environments using broadcast-quality equipment, including HD cameras, camera stabilizers, switchers, digital audio consoles, graphics systems, and computer-based editing systems, while covering the fundamentals of producing, directing, editing, and shooting across drama, documentary, news, and sports formats. The program runs two years of full-time study, followed by an industry practicum in the fourth semester. Graduates receive a SAIT Radio, Television and Broadcast News diploma with a major in Television and typically pursue roles such as producer, director, editor, or content creator across television, streaming, and digital media platforms. The program accepts international applicants, though it does not currently meet Post-Graduation Work Permit eligibility requirements.
