Diploma in Computer Automated Systems Technician

Computer Automated Systems Technician is a 64-week diploma at Saskatchewan Polytechnic, delivered on campus at the Regina campus, that immerses students in current computer and automated technologies. The program combines classroom instruction with hands-on lab work covering automated systems and control technologies. Graduates are prepared for entry-level roles supporting and maintaining computer-automated systems. Admission requires Grade 12 with Workplace and Apprenticeship Mathematics 30, Foundations of Mathematics 20, or Pre-Calculus 20, along with Saskatchewan Polytechnic's English Language Requirement, or completion of related certificates. Applicants who do not meet the Grade 12 requirement may qualify through ACCUPLACER testing with minimum scores of 250 in Arithmetic, 247 in Quantitative Reasoning, 250 in Reading, and 245 in Writing.
