Integrated Resource Management is a two-year, 70-week diploma from Saskatchewan Polytechnic offered at the Prince Albert campus, with an August intake. The program trains practitioners to balance environmental, economic and social factors in natural resource development, combining classroom instruction with hands-on field learning across forestry, fisheries, wildlife and park management. Students spend time at an outdoor learning and applied research centre, including a fall session covering hands-on field skills and a winter camp covering winter ecology and outdoor survival. Graduates are prepared for roles such as fish and wildlife technician, forestry technician, biological technician and park ranger with conservation authorities, First Nation communities, forestry and resource companies, and government agencies. Admission follows Saskatchewan Polytechnic's First Qualified/First Admitted process, with applications opening September 1 each year. Graduates may transfer credit into the Bachelor of Applied Management degree at Saskatchewan Polytechnic.
