Cert in Aviation Techniques

Aviation Techniques is a one-year Ontario College Certificate at Sault College introducing students to the aviation industry and helping them identify which specialization suits their skills before committing to a longer programme. Coursework builds foundational knowledge that aligns with the Transport Canada Flight Dispatcher examination, alongside coverage of core aviation operations topics. The programme spans two semesters and provides pathways into further study, including transfer into the college's Aviation Technology – Flight diploma or into university degree programmes. Admission requires an Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) or equivalent, or mature student status, along with Grade 12 English (College Preparation, ENG4C or equivalent) and Grade 12 Mathematics (MCT4C or MAP4C or equivalent). The certificate suits students exploring aviation career options before specializing further into flight operations, technician, or pilot training.
