This continuing-education (AEC) program, delivered jointly with flight school Orizon Aviation at Quebec City's Jean-Lesage International Airport, follows a personalized 24-month path to an Airline Transport Pilot Licence. It provides the theoretical knowledge and practical skills for piloting in Canada and internationally, leading to a Private Pilot Licence (PPL) and a Commercial Pilot Licence with instrument rating (CPL-IR), plus preparation for the SARON and SAMRA exams required for Transport Canada's Airline Transport Pilot Licence (ATP(A)), along with aviation-specific English instruction. Graduates complete 210 flight hours, including a minimum of 75 instrument hours, 20 multi-engine hours, and 50 navigation hours, plus at least 54 hours of simulator practice, of which 20 hours cover multi-crew coordination (MCC-JET) on a Boeing 737 simulator. Those who pass the required theory exams may go on to accumulate the 1,500 flight hours needed for automatic issuance of an airline pilot licence. Graduates can pursue roles as airline or business pilots, flight instructors, or government air-service pilots.
