Liberal Arts and Sciences Diploma

Admission Requirements: Students entering this University Arts and Sciences diploma need at least 60% in English Studies 12 or equivalent; those who fall short must instead sit the college's Language Proficiency Index (LPI) test and reach a minimum of level 4. French 102, Spanish 102, and English 51 are exempt from the English Studies 12 prerequisite. Students whose first language is not English must separately satisfy the college's English-language-proficiency requirement under Policy 8611; no specific IELTS or TOEFL score is published on the program page. Mature students must meet the same English 12 standard plus any additional course requirements in the college calendar. Applicants missing the standard prerequisites may still be admitted by combining Academic Upgrading with first-year university courses, which can extend the program length. Intake is offered in Fall, Winter, and Spring.
