The General Studies Associate of Science Degree is a two-year, 60-credit programme that gives students flexibility to build a broad science background before transferring to a bachelor's degree or entering the workforce. The curriculum draws on biology, chemistry, mathematics and English studies, including laboratory-based science courses, and requires six introductory science courses, six second-year science courses across multiple disciplines, at least one lab science course, two mathematics courses including one calculus course, four English or Arts courses, and two further Arts or Science electives. The programme is delivered on campus and admits students in the Fall, Winter and Spring terms. It suits students who want a broad science education without committing early to a single specialization, while remaining compatible with transfer pathways to university science and pre-professional programmes.
