Engineering Transfer Certificate

Admission Requirements: The Engineering Transfer Certificate admits Grade 12 graduates (or equivalent) with Pre-calculus 12, Physics 12, and English Studies 12 or English First Peoples 12 each at a B (73%) minimum, and Chemistry 11 at a B (73%) minimum, with Chemistry 12 recommended. Students still completing Grade 12 may instead qualify on Grade 11 standing: Pre-calculus 11 at A- (80%) or Pre-calculus 12 at B; Physics 11 at A- (80%) or Physics 12 at B; Chemistry 11 at A- (80%) or Chemistry 12 at B; and Grade 11 English composition/literary studies at A- (80%) or the Grade 12 English course at B. No standardised international English test score is set on the programme page; Thompson Rivers University's English language proficiency requirements set IELTS 6.5 overall with no band below 6.0, or TOEFL iBT 88 with no section below 20, for direct entry into academic programmes.
