Overview

Trent University's Environmental Geoscience program is a Bachelor of Science (Honours) degree focused on the study of Earth's systems and their role in the sustainable development of natural resources. The curriculum addresses environmental challenges such as climate change, contaminated groundwater, and geohazards, combining geoscience theory with experiential, field-based learning. The program meets the knowledge requirements of Professional Geoscientists Ontario, though students remain responsible for confirming they meet the individual requirements for professional registration. An accelerated route into Trent's Master of Science in Environmental & Life Sciences is available to eligible students. Some courses include field trips, which may carry a small additional fee.
