MA/MS in Maîtrise en études classiques

The Master's in Classical Studies (maitrise en etudes classiques) is a 45-credit, thesis-based graduate program covering classical archaeology, ancient history, and the languages and literature of the Greco-Roman world. Students undertake an in-depth research project in one of these areas, developing skills in philology and classical-studies methodology, with optional archaeological fieldwork placements. At a standard course load of fifteen credits per trimester, the 45-credit program is nominally completed in three trimesters (one year) full-time. The program is delivered on-campus at the Montreal campus, with intakes in the fall and winter trimesters. Admission requires a bachelor's degree; the program does not publish a minimum GPA or cote R. Instruction is entirely in French. Program code 2-095-1-0.
