Overview

The Master's in College-Level Teaching Pedagogy (Maitrise en pedagogie de l'enseignement superieur au collegial) is a 45-credit graduate program delivered through the Performa network for educators already teaching or working as pedagogical advisors in Quebec's college (CEGEP) system. It leads to a Master of Education and offers a French-language path and a separate English-language path, delivered online and at Performa member institutions in a blended format. The French path combines core courses in digital pedagogy, learning-activity planning, pedagogical-scenario design and assessment with elective courses in classroom management, inclusive teaching and peer supervision, then a choice between a professional-research stream or a pedagogical-innovation stream. The English path covers course design, assessment, active-learning strategies and digital pedagogy, an integration seminar and a research project. Admission requires a bachelor's degree with a minimum 2.7 GPA on a 4.3 scale and an active teaching or advisory position at a Performa member college. The program is offered as part-time regular study, admitting students each fall, winter and summer term.
