This bachelor's degree in physiotherapy emphasizes excellence and innovation in education, clinical practice, and research. It forms the first stage of a sequential pathway toward professional registration, comprising a 90-credit bachelor's degree followed by a 62-credit master's degree; graduates who complete both stages may register with Quebec's professional physiotherapy order. The curriculum emphasizes clinical reasoning, evidence-based practice, community rehabilitation, teamwork, and professionalism. Coursework covers anatomy, physiology, and biomechanics alongside supervised clinical placements that build hands-on assessment and treatment skills across musculoskeletal, neurological, and cardiorespiratory populations. The program is delivered on campus at UQAC's Saguenay location, is offered full-time only, and admits students in the fall term. It is not open to international applicants, and completion of both the bachelor's and master's stages is required before graduates may practice as physiotherapists.
