Etudes-hors-Quebec applicants need a diploma granting access to higher education after at least 13 years of schooling with a minimum average of 12/20 (11-12 considered after letter review and/or interview); etudes-universitaires applicants need 15 completed university credits with a 2.5/4.3 cumulative average; a preparation-suffisante route requires appropriate collegial-level knowledge in mathematics, study methodology, French and the humanities, a minimum 80% completeness on the application file, and at least six months of full-time supervised work experience in an education setting. Non-francophone applicants must attach proof of French mastery from a test recognised by UQAC (TFI, TCF or TEF at B2/NCLC 8, or the DELF-B2 diploma) obtained within 24 months before the term starts; all students must also pass the TECFEE written-French certification test to continue in the programme and obtain teaching credentials. The programme is full-time only, uncapped, and admits in the fall term only.
