The Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Psychology at Universite du Quebec a Rimouski provides foundational theoretical and scientific knowledge in psychological assessment and intervention, covering the major theoretical approaches and specialized fields of psychology over 90 credits. The program combines lecture-based courses with practical and laboratory components in assessment and intervention methods. Courses are delivered on campus, generally during weekday daytime and evening sessions, over six trimesters of full-time study, with admission in the fall term only. Limited class sizes give students easier access to a full-time faculty team. Graduates can enter the workforce directly in roles such as human relations officer or research officer, or continue on to doctoral studies in psychology in order to practice as licensed psychologists in Quebec.
