This Certificate in Psychology is a 30-credit, first-cycle undergraduate program that introduces students to the basic concepts of psychology. Classes are generally delivered in person during the week, daytime and evening. Admission is available through several routes: a Quebec DEC (or equivalent) with no further prerequisites; completion of at least ten courses (30 credits) within the same university program with a minimum cumulative average of 2.0 out of 4.3; an equivalent credential for applicants educated outside Quebec; or a Diplome d'etudes secondaires (DES) or Diplome d'etudes professionnelles (DEP) combined with at least six months of relevant, attested work experience. All applicants must meet UQAR's French-language proficiency requirement or pass an institutional French exam. The program admits new students in the fall trimester only.
