Overview
This professional master's programme (45 credits, code 3249) trains managers with a strategic, integrated view of project management, able to manage projects, programmes, and portfolios effectively from initial concept through to realized benefits. Its curriculum draws on an interdisciplinary range of fields relevant to the different dimensions of project management, including psychology, strategy, finance, law, and human resources, alongside project-management-specific coursework. Classes are delivered on campus at UQAT's Val-d'Or location, in an evening- and weekend-based, part-time format, with fall intake, and the programme leads to the M.G.P. degree.

Minimum GPA:3.20 / 4.3
Admission Requirements: Standard entry requires a bachelor's degree (or equivalent) with a cumulative average of at least 3.2/4.3; files with an average between 2.8 and 3.2/4.3 are reviewed by the programme committee, which may require preparatory coursework. Candidates without a bachelor's degree may instead be considered on the basis of a relevant professional accreditation, or at least seven years of project-management experience, or ten years of management experience more broadly; such files are also reviewed by the programme committee and may require preparatory coursework. All candidates must have adequate knowledge of the language of instruction under UQAT's institutional French-proficiency policy, and a sufficient understanding of English.
