This certificate programme offers a multidisciplinary introduction to gender, women's, and sexuality studies, drawing on perspectives from across the social sciences and humanities. Over 30 credits, students examine political, ethical, and professional dimensions of gender and are encouraged to engage critically with structural inequalities and violence, including how gender intersects with class and race. The curriculum builds a foundation for research and intervention in gender-related fields. The programme is offered full-time or part-time on the Gatineau campus and leads to a first-cycle Certificate. Admission is possible with a college diploma (DEC) or equivalent, with a minimum of 15 completed university credits and a stated cumulative average, or on the basis of relevant aptitude assessed through a questionnaire and possible interview. Intake occurs in the Fall, Winter, and Summer terms.
