The microprogram in Gestion et développement de PME (Small Business Management and Development) at Université du Québec en Outaouais is a 9-credit, first-cycle program for current or aspiring small-business owners and managers. It provides supplementary training in the fundamentals of managing and growing a small or medium-sized enterprise, covering how to analyze the socioeconomic environment in which an SME operates, the specific management challenges SMEs face compared with larger organizations, and how to manage creativity and innovation within a small-business context. The program is designed as a short, targeted credential rather than a full business degree, suited to entrepreneurs who need practical management grounding alongside running a business. Admission is offered across the fall, winter, and summer trimesters.
