This graduate diploma (DESS) in finance is a 24-credit program delivered on campus at UQO's Gatineau campus, offered on a full-time or part-time basis with admission in the Fall and Winter terms; the program does not offer courses in the Summer term. It prepares graduates to identify and apply the steps involved in financial risk management in an ethical manner and in compliance with regulatory requirements, while developing effective financial strategies and innovative solutions to financial challenges. The program is aimed at graduates in finance, economics, or quantitative disciplines seeking advanced, applied training in financial risk management and strategy. The program does not run courses in the Summer trimester, so full-time students plan their sequence of study around the Fall and Winter terms only. Instruction is delivered in French, in accordance with UQO's language policy for graduate admissions.
