Overview
This Master of Science in Administrative Sciences, concentration in Financial Engineering, trains specialists able to apply advanced mathematical and quantitative tools to problems in financial engineering and innovation for banks, insurers, asset managers and other financial institutions. The course-based programme combines core courses in quantitative finance with a capstone requirement, completed either as a research-oriented end-of-studies project or an integration internship, each worth 6 credits. Applicants need a strong background in advanced mathematics and programming, reflecting the technical demands of the curriculum. Instruction combines classroom teaching with hybrid and distance-learning options, and students can study full-time or part-time at their own pace. Fall and winter intakes are offered. The programme prepares graduates for quantitative and analytical roles in banking, asset management, risk management and financial consulting, where advanced modelling and computational skills are required.
