The Certificate in Financial Analysis groups the courses most relevant to preparing for the CFA Institute's first exam. It develops expertise in asset valuation, financial analysis, portfolio management, and market and corporate finance across ten mandatory courses covering macroeconomic finance, investment, quantitative analysis, portfolio management, and fixed-income valuation. The 30-credit program runs a minimum of three semesters full-time and gives students practical experience through access to two trading floors equipped with Bloomberg and Datastream databases covering financial data for 200 countries. The program is offered on campus, with some courses at a distance and some taught in English, and admits new students in the fall, winter, and summer terms.
