BA/BS in Major in Adult Education

This undergraduate major in adult education at Universite TELUQ develops the competencies to plan, deliver, and evaluate training and education activities for adults across a range of practice settings, building a foundation in andragogy, the theory and practice of adult learning. It leads to a first-cycle university diploma of 45 credits rather than a full bachelor's degree, and is designed for people who want to specialize in adult learning and workplace or community-based training rather than school-based teaching, including staff who design or deliver training programs in organizations, community groups, or continuing-education settings. As with related Universite TELUQ education programs, it does not lead to the teaching permit issued by Quebec's ministry of education. Delivered entirely online, students progress through the program at their own pace, without a fixed class schedule or campus attendance requirement.
